Alexander & Janet (MacKay) Ross.

Erected/by/his sons/in fond remembrance/of their father/ALEXANDER ROSS/farmer Polgarry/who died on the 18th Sept. 1852/aged 48 years/also his spouse/JANET MACKAY/who died at Gruinards Ardgay/on the 20th Feb. 1909/aged 102 years.

Thought you might like to know that Alexander Ross was married to Janet MacKay, not Janet Macleay. They were my Great-Great Grandparents. Alexander died after an accident on the farm, but Janet didn't die until 1909.
