**In hope of a blessed resurrection here lies the body of ANN REID, spouse to JOHN BREMNER, baillie of fortrose & daughter to WILLIAM EID, merchant there, who departed this life the 20 June 1742; also the body of JOHN BREMNER, late baillie of Fortrose, who dyed the 9th of Novemr 1764.**
