Margaret (Gordon) Stewart, Donald & John.

Erected/by/JOHN STEWART/in memory of/his beloved wife/MARGARET GORDON/who died in Stratford/CANADA 27th October 1874/aged 63 years/and buried here/on the 11th August 1876/also of/there sons DONALD/who die 26th March 1841/aged 1¼ years/and JOHN who died 18 Sept/1855 aged 9¾ years.


Also his grandmother, aunt, father, mother and uncle is buried here.


Our race is run and your's is running. Prepare, for/judgement day is comeing.

John Stewart as my third cousin. His father was a Hector Stewart who was born in Resolis in Ross and Cromarty in 1774 and his mother was Kate Fowler. His grandmother was a Janet Reid.These people are all interred here.
