In loving memory/of/ALEXANDER BAIN/died at Lonemore 9th Jan. 1909 aged 62/and his wife/CATHERINE MACLEAN/also died there 14th July 1914 aged 58/their sons/JOHN, died at Lonemore 9th Jan. 1909, aged 19/ALEXANDER, died in Devonport/17th May 1917 aged 19/JAMES, accidentally drowned in Thames/7th July 1926 aged 42/MARY, died Aug. 1941 aged 62/KENNY, died Aug. 1945 aged 61/his wife ANN died Apr. 1954 aged 70/MURDO, died Mar. 1972 aged 85/his wife BELLA died Aug. 1975 aged 79.
