ERECTED/by/DONALD MACDONALD tenant in Coulags/RODERICK MACDONALD, merchant in Jeantown/in memory of their parents/RODERICK MACDONALD tacksman in/Coulags who died 11th March 1813/aged 47 years/and ANNE MACKENZIE, his spouse/who died 24th May 1851 aged 84 years/and of their brother JOHN/who died 22nd February 1817 aged 44 years/and in memory of their infant child of the said RODERICK MACDONALD/CHRISTINA 12th July 1856/and ALEXANDER RODERICK who died 29th April 1857/also to the memory of the said DONALD MACDONALD/died at Coulags 4th July 1859/his wife ELIZABETH MACKENZIE died 25th April 1877/and their children/ELIZABETH wife of JOHN GRAHAM died 16 April 1898/KENNETH died 22nd Sep. 1904/ISABELLA wife of DONALD MACLEOD died 24 Jan, 1911/MALCOLM, died 26th Jan. 1923/ANN died 25th Dec. 1929/also in memory of ANN MACBEATH wife of MALCOLM who died in Inverness on 9th May 1950 aged 91.

How wonderful to find another headstone this time my GGGgrandfather Roderick and to be able to add more names to the family tree. I believe that his brother John although stated died in 1847 according to the family tree I have he died in 1817, so tragic they died so young.
