Erected to the memory/of/JESSIE MAY HENDERSON/the beloved wife of/JOHN MATHESON M.A., M.B.C.M./late of Blackheath, London/born at Aberdeen 22nd Feb. 1873/died at Rudha Mor, Plockton 23rd April 1940/and in loving memory of the above/JOHN MATHESON/who also died there 30th Aug. 1945/in his 83rd year/also their beloved younger son/Lieut. DONALD LOUTTIT MATHESON/8th Bn. the Seaforth Highlanders/killed in action in Madagascar 9-5-42.

In loving memory of/CHRISTINA MAY MATHESON/their eldest daughter/born Greenwich 29th March 1899/died Plockton 11th February 1972/["recent"]/ALLAN LINDSAY WALKER/who died in Tripoli, Libya/on 14th August 1955.
