This stone is placed here by ALEXANDER McLEOD/in memory of his daughter/MARY McLEOD/who died on the [19?] day of September 1834 aged 25 years/and his daugther/ISABELLA McLEOD/of the excellence of character and affectionate disposition and both by parents and friends/she died on the 17th day of June 1837 in her 23rd year/And also in memory of his daughter/MARGARET McLEOD/spouse of DANIEL HOSSACK farmer/by whom this memorial/was inscribed in token of esteem/for his beloved wife/who died 1st Octr. 1840, aged 23 years.
