Beneath this stone are/laid the remains of the/Rev. WILLIAM SIM/SON minister of the Gospel/at Strathconon who/died May 10th 1799/aged 41/also/his sister Miss JEAN SIMPSON/eldest daughter of the Rev/THOMAS SIMPSON late/minister of Avoch/died at Dingwall on the 31st/Oct. 1836 in the 71st year of her/age. Sincere Christian/respected and beloved/by all who knew her.
