This stone is erected by/ROBERT FERGUSON/tacksman of Loer Kildun/in memory of his spouse/MARGARET SCOTT/who departed this life/upon the 2 July 1820/aged 40 years/here also are interred/the remains of/ROBERT FERGUSON/formerly tacksman of Kildun/and latterly of/Burnside of Newhall/who died on the 11th June 1843/aged 70 years/also in memory of/his second spouse/ISABELLA MacKENZIE/who died in 1879/aged 84 years.
