James & Hannah (Dunbar) McKenzie & family.

In/loving memory of/JAMES McKENZIE/cabinetmaker, Dingwall/who died 10th December 1897/aged 78 years/also of his wife/HANNAH DUNBAR/who died at Dingwall, 12th July 1907/aged 79 years/and of their daughter/MARY MACKENZIE/who also died there, 6th July 1907/aged 59 years/and of their sons/RODERICK McKENZIE/who died 1st Feby 1915/aged 55 years/GEORGE McKENZIE/who died 2nd July 1924.



"What though is lonely grief we sigh/for friends beloved no longer nigh/submissive would we still reply/Thy Will be done."

Hannah Dunbar was the sister of Colin Dunbar(my ggg-grandfather). Their father was Neil Dunbar a Sherrif Officer in Dingwall.
