In/loving memory/of/JOHN BAIN/a native of Newton/who died at Edinburgh/3 August 1880/who is interred in the/Grange Cemetery/also his spouse/ANN CUNNINGHAM/who died at Newton/27th Decemder 1898/and is interred here/ELSPAT BAIN or KIRKWOOD/their second daughter/who died at Edinburgh/22 April 1899/and is interred in the Newington Cemetery there/also their son WILLIAM/who died by the result/of an accident at Newton/29 Nov 1888 aged 24 years.
