Erected/by/WILLIAM SMITH/late innkeeper Cromarty Ferry/in memory of his wife/ANN GEORGE/who departed this life/17th September 1818/aged 32 years/and of his two sons who died at Ardavall/JOHN on 9th Oct. 12862 aged 20 years/ROBERT ANN on 12th Sept. 1880/aged 32 years./The above WILLIAM SMITH/farmer Ardavall/died 14th Oct. 1896 aged 79 years.
