John Wittiton.

Sacred/to the memory of/JOHN WITTITON/seaman of H.M.S. ARROGANT/who depatred this life May 1856/aged 22 years."His glass is run his watch is o'er/The boatswain's pipe he'll hear no more/Secure he lies in deaths cold bands/till [the last trump] shall call all hands."

Took a photo of this memorial in June, enhanced it a little and I believe the last line reads
"Till the last rump shall call all hands"

Sorry Roddie, I had a feeling I had made a mistake as soon as I hit the button.
I couldn't make out the engraving on the stone but the photo turned out quite well, changed it to greyscale then inverted it and and the letters stand out quite much more clearly.
