This stone is placed here/by/ISABELLA YOUNG/in memory of his husband/JAMES YOUNG/late maerchant in Cromarty/who died on the 2nd of September 1837/aged 78 years/and of their daughter/ISABELLA/who died the 25th day of February/1838/aged 9 years.
