Erected/by/JOHN McKEDDIE/shipmaster Cromarty/in memory of/his infant daughter FRANCIS MUNRO/who died 16th April 1849 aged 6 months/Also his spouse MARY MATHESON/who died 20th October 1855/aged 52 years/also the said JOHN McKEDDIE/shipmaster who died in Cromarty/on the 3rd day of Decamber 1856/aged 53 years/JOHN JAMES McKEDDIE/only son of the above/John McKeddie & Mary Matheson/drowned of Yarmouth in the wreck of the/SS Sea Queen on 13th February 1870/aged 24 years.
