John & Ann (Macleod) Munro & family

Sacred to the memory of/JOHN MUNRO/who died at Upper Muckovie/on the 6 Aug 1893 aged 74 years/and his beloved wife/ANN MACLEOD who died at Viewfield/on the 9 Jan 1882 aged 54 years/and of their children/HUGH MUNRO who died in infancy/on the 13 June 1859/ANN MUNRO who died at Balnafettack/on the 28 April 1864 aged 6 years/ALEX MUNRO who was drowned on/the wreck of the SS Tararua off Waipapa/Point New Zealand on the 29 April 1881/in the 27th year of his age, and buried in/the Taraua Acre, near the scene of the/disaster/JOHN MUNRO/farmer who died at Eldad, inverness/on the 8th April 1915 aged 59 years/and his wife/MARY ANDERSON/who died on the 4 March 1950/ISABELLA MUNRO Upper Muckovie died 25.3.41 aged 90.
