Unfortunately, I cannot help you. The mausoleum is locked. This photo was donated some years ago. Highland council may be able to tell who the keyholder is.

I'm thrilled to see this. I descend from Murdoch Kennedy Gillanders, born Achintee, (Loch Carron) July 1834, emigrated to New Zealand in 1861. To this day, our family still use Kennedy as a second name. We believe the family in Scotland was related to Dr John Kennedy (15 August 1819 – 28 April 1884) but we have no proof of this. Can anyone in Scotland today throw any light on this? Thank you.
