In loving memory/of/ANGUSINA HUTCHISON ROSS SRN/died 7th February 1972/aged 92 years/ever faithful daughter of the late/Mr and Mrs HUGH ANTON ROSS/23 Lamington Street, Tain/a beloved wife for 63 years of/DAVID (DONALD) MACARTHUR/died 1st April 1976/aged 95 years.

This is my great aunt. Her family had a diapers shop in Lamington Street. I think her grandfather came from Dingwall and had a painter and decorators business. One of her forefathers was a Baillie in Dingwall. The last time I was in Dingwall Hugh Anton Ross business still existed. Her sister, Eva, was organist at the Episcopalian church. Eva married Captain Alfred Ross Williams and lived at Arabella, Nigg. They had a tomato farm
