I am pretty certain that this is Sergeant Graham an old veteran from the 78th Foot who fought in the battles of Assaye, Argaum, Gawilghur for which he collected a Army of India medal with the 3 clasps, he was also awarded a MGSM for Java. One of only a few dozen men who lived long enough to claim the medal.
