Walter Mundell (1783-1864) has several of his children's graves on this site including Walter Grieve Mundell 1838-1902 (buried Urray West picture no 12427) Barbara Mundell 1837-1926 and husband Arche MacLean MD (Buried Kiltearn picture no 4232) Jessie Mundell 1828-1922 wife of William Trotter (Buried Killearnan picture no 1062) as well as grandchildren, descendants of Walter's son George 1821-1872.

Walter's children were all first cousins of Jessie Angus nee Mundell 1821-1857 as she was the eldest daughter of Walter's youngest brother Robert Mundell 1795-1880 (died in Ohio as he and the rest of his family emigrated there in 1854).

Jessie married William Angus and had seven children before her death in childbirth on March 14th 1857. Jane was the eldest of these and did not marry. William was the fourth child born about 1849. He married the much younger Jessie McLeod in 1898. On the 1911 census they had been married for 13 years and had no children.
