Erected/by the family in memory of/DONALD McLEAY/who for 45 years was forester/at Rhiddorroch/for Cromartie, and for the /Duke & Duchess of Sutherland/who died the 5th April 1868/aged 85 years/Also of his son DOUGALD/who died in August 1849/aged 21 years.
