In memory of/Mrs BARBARA CLARKE/wife of/WILLIAM WATSON Cromarty/she died at Cromarty on the 2nd /day of July AD. 1831/aged 23 years/and lie buried beneath/this tablet/Here also lye interred/the mortal remains of/HUGHINA JANE CLARKE/spouse of/WILLIAM WATSON Cromarty/She died at Cromarty/in the 17th day of December 1848/in the 29th year of her age/and/the abovenamed/WILLIAM WATSON Esq/died 14th August 1864/aged 59 years/much esteemed and deeply lamented.
