Sacred/to the memory of/HUGH SKINNER/sometime Fisherman/in Avoch/who departed this/life the 4th day of March 1836/aged 66 years/also to the/memory of his spouse/ELSPAT SKINNER/who departed this life the/26th July 1838 aged 72 years/This stone is erected by their/dutiful son ALEXANDER/over the remains of the best of parents/Also of his sister/CATHERINE SKINNER/who departed this life the 8th/May 1868 aged 72 years/also of the said/ALEXANDER SKINNER/sometime carpenter in Avoch/who departed this life 12th Feby 1878 aged 63 years/and of his spouse ANN JACK who/departed this life------/aged------years.
