William Mackie, Wiliam & Mary (Mackie) McBean.

Sacred/to the memory of/WILLIAM MACKIE, manager Plantation Ogle, Demerara/who died at Roseneath  Cottage/near Inverness/on the 11 Novr 1865/aged 29 years/universally regretted by/a large circle of attached/relatives and friends/This memorial is erected by his/only sister MARY/as a tribute of love and remembrance/to the memory of an affectionate/and dutiful brother.

There are also buried here/WILLIAM McBEAN JP Cradlehall/ husband of MARY MACKIE/died 21 September 1910 aged 63/and the said MARY MACKIE/died at Drummond Lodge inverness/25 Dec 1924 aged 87.
