Janet (Mackain) & Alexander Milne.

Sacred/to the memory of/JANET ROSS MACKAIN/**spouse of**/ALEXANDER MILNE Esq./of Kingston Jamaica who after an absence of 23 years **in that **is/land returned to her native/County a few months previous/to her decease/She died on the 4th November 1823 aged 36 years and 22 days. Also/the said ALEXANDER MILNE/who died at **Helensburgh Dunbarton**shire/the 20th December/1867 in her 79th year.**He was by his own desire/[interre?]d here beside his dearly [beloved?] wife on the 3rd January 1868.**
