William & Jessie (Mackay) McLean

Erected/by/his family in/loving memory of/their father/WILIAM McLEAN mason/who died at Cromarty/22nd March 1905/aged 75 years/also his wife and their mother/JESSIE MACKAY/died at Croamrty/1 decr 1913.


He is gone/but not forgotten.

This is the brother of my great great grandfather John McLean who died 24/8/1899 in Cromarty. Their father was William McLean and mother Janet Fraser married 12/4/1824 Rosemarkie. Family lived at the Cloy in 1926

Their son Kenneth McLean born 1/9/1865 Rosmarkie died 6/5/1957 Cromarty is buried next /near to them but no record of his burial can be found! My mother was at the funeral so this is quite correct.
