John & Simon Mustard.

Erected/by/JAMES MUSTARD/farmer/Balmoungie in memory of his brother/JOHN MUSTARD/born 12th August 1805/departed this life 17th April 1811/also/to the memory of his son/SIMON MUSTARD born 19 Sep/tember 1851 and departed this life/15th December 1852.

James (b. 1804) and his brother John (b. 1805) were the children of Alexander and Margaret McCullough Mustard of Balmungie. James and his wife Henrietta Forsyth Mustard (who lost Simon), along with Alexander and Margaret and some other of their children emigrated to Canada in 1855. They lived in Huron County, Ontario.
