Erected/by/ALEXANDER McALLAN/in loving memory of/his daughter/JESSIE/who died 2nd Jany 1860/aged 6 months/and of his son/ANDREW/who died from the effects/of an accident at Nairn/16th August/1892/aged 24 years/and the said ALEXANDER McALLAN/burgh officer over forty/years schoolboard officer/over thirty years/who died 30th December1908/aged 82 years/and his wife MARY FRASER/who died 9th May 1915/aged 82 years/and their daughter ANNIE/who died 8th September 1933/aged 70 years/also their daughter BARBARA/who died 6th December 1951.
