John & May (Munro) Bain & family.

In/loving memory of/JOHN BAIN/who died at Fortrose/31st Oct. 1922 aged 74 years/and his wife/MAY MUNRO/also died there 28th March 1935/and their sons/DONALD/who died 23rd Dec. 1961/FINLAY/who died 6th March 1970/also their daughter/ANN WILLIAMINA/who died 26th February 1977/sadly mourned.

I received this photo from a Canadian relative. This is the grave of my grandfather/grandmother/ & aunts & uncles. I have visited it often; I live in Fort William.

These are my relatives, as well. John Bain was a brother to my great grandfather, Murdoch Bain of Auldearn. The family originally from North Erradale, Gairloch. I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
