[broken stone]----memory of/--H MACKENZIE/---Strath, Gairloch/1925 aged 88/---of his wife/----LLA CAMERON/----20 May 1956/aged 86/and their son/KENNETH/died 21 June 1905 aged 20.

This stone is of my great-great grandparents Kenneth MacKenzie (born circa 1838 at Gairloch, died 1925) and his wife Isabella Cameron (born circa 1849 at Kinlochewe, died 20 May 1936) and their son (my 2nd great uncle) Kenneth whose year of birth had been given as 1880. They all lived at "plot 26" Strath, Gairloch.
I have been researching my Scottish family tree on and off for the past seven years and have the work of my uncle on the MacKenzie tree to build upon.
It is a surprise to me to see this stone in this condition, but I (and I guess my mother and uncle) were not aware of this stone.
I hope to visit it soon.
