Alexander & Jessie Mackenzie, s. Norman.
To the memory/of/ALEXANDER MACKENZIE/died 30th Sept. 1894 age 46/NORMAN MACKENZIE/his son/killed in action at Vimy Ridge/with the Canadian Forces/28th April 1917 aged 26 years/his wife/JESSIE MACKENZIE/died at Strath, Gairloch/25th April 1936 aged 78.

I (and perhaps my mother) was not aware of this stone of my 3rd great uncle Alexander MacKenzie and his wife Jessie along with the memorial to their son Norman.
I hope to visit it soon.
