Erected/by/Gairloch FC people and friends/in memory of/JOHN MACKENZIE/catechist in Gairloch over 19 years/died 3rd June 1897/was the last of Gairloch diruption/worthies, a man greatly beloved, who/adorned his life the doctrines he/taught.
