See image 2663 on this site for Mary's parents, Hector Simpson and Mary Low, and 2664 for her sister Elizabeth.
George and Mary (or Marie) Milne never lived in Cromarty and, notwithstanding the gravestone there, both actually died in British Columbia, where they had settled after retirement with their daughter Nancy and her Canadian husband, Ernest Munro (no relative of mine).
Hector Simpson's family went back several generations in Cromarty and he clearly maintained strong links despite spending most of his working life in London - he retired there, and two of his daughters married Cromarty men.
