In loving memory of/our dear sons/JAMES D. SHEPHERD/1st Battn 5th Royal Scots/born 26 Aug. 1881, died 9 May 1915/of wounds received in action/at Dardanelles/and buried at Gallipoli/WILLIAM GEORGE/died 22 Oct. 1923 aged 25./Also JAMES D. SHEPHERD/father/who died 20 March 1933/in his 74th year/and MARY REID/his devoted wife/who died 26th May 1933, aged 74.
