James & Keathrine (Forbes) Davidson, Helen Forbes.


Under this stone/lies the body of/JAMES DAVIDSON/sometime shoemaker in Rosemarkie/who departed this/life the 3 of January/1776 aged 73 years/and his spouse KEATH/RINE FORBES who died/the 10 of March 1778/aged 76 years.



"I am the resurrection & the life, he that believeth in me tho he were dead, yet shall he live & whosoever liveth & believeth in me, shall never die." John II Chap. v. 25-26.



HELEN FORBES , my spouse, departed this life 15 May 1803, aged 61 years.



This stone was erected by JOHN DAVIDSON, merchant, Rosemarkie.

John and Helen(Forbes) Davidson were my great, great, great grandparents. I can't believe that I have found them. Thank you for the photo. It's made my day.
