John Wood, Alexander Wood, Alexander Wood.

This monument/is erected to designate the/family burying ground of/The Reverend JOHN WOOD/Minister of the Gospel at/Rosemarkie/for fortyone years/who died 10th November 1775/aged 71/and of his son/The Reverend ALEXANDER WOOD/assistant and successor to his/father for thirty nine years/who departed 22d August 1809/aged 61/and also of his grandson/The Reverend ALEXANDER WOOD/who succeeeded his father/as pastor of the parish./Likewise in memory of their/beloved spouse and other/members of their families.
