Donald & Catherine (Matheson) McKenzie & family

In memory of/DONALD McKENZIE/schoolmaster at Kinkell/who died 20th August 1837/aged 88 years/also of his wife/CATHRINE MATHESON/who died 29th July 1837/aged 81 years/hese both lived by faith, and died in peace. Also in memory of their sons/CHARLES who died 1818 and DONALD teacher in/the parish school Mulchaich/till 1843 and thereafter in/the Free Church school there.He was an earnest scholarly/good man. He died 14th January 1857/and of their daughters/MARGARET who died 1st March 1868/ELISABETH who died 9th Dec. 1873/CATHERINE who died 18 Jany 1870.

These all died in faith. Hebrews XI 13.
