[first section is under a shrub]**Erected to the memory of DONALD ROSS seaman in Avoch who departed this life the 29th day of August 1823 in the 50th year of his age, justly and deeply regretted;also his**spouse JANET/McKEDDIE who departed this/life the 21st day of December 1819/in the 48thg year of her age/as a tribute of sincere affection and regard this stone/is erected by their dutiful son/SIMON ROSS seaman Avoch/who departed this life on the 10th/day of January 1878 aged 75 years/also his spouse MARGARET PATIENCE/who departed this life on the 20th/October 1876 aged 76 years.
