Caledonian Mercury of 30 March 1861 has marriage of Donald John MacRae of Invershiel, on 19th March at Knochgray House to Margaret Lamont(?). Donald the only son of late Capt Farquhar MacRae HM 78th Regiment. Margaret eldest daughter of late Archibald Wallace of Conrick.

I have Donald born 18 April 1830, making him 47, not 77 when he died.
