I am 86 and a direct descendant of John Maclean and live in Lancashire. Frequently visit Badenscallie and a few years ago arranged for the gravestone to be readjusted as it was beginning to lean. Dolina and Donald were my great aunt and uncle. I don’t know who erected the headstone.

My partner is great grandson of John and Margaret through their son Roderick who is buried in Fodderty (d. Lewiston 1957)
