Isabella (Adam) & Simon Macdonald & sons.

In/affectionate remembrance/of/ISABELLA ADAM/beloved wife of/SIMON MACDONALD/farmer/late of Bridgend, Dingwall/who died at Inverness on/12th May 1908/also their sons/DUNCAN/died at Bridgend 25th Feby 1884/also in memory of their sons/Lieut. SIMON MACDONALD/23rd Batt. Northumberland Fusilrs/killed in action in France/18 July 1916, aged 32/Lieut. JOHN MACDONALD/killed on duty 21 Nov. 1916 aged 29/also of the above SIMON MACDONALD/died at inverness, 25 Aug. 192/aged 71 years.

This is the grave stone of my great grandfather and great grandmother Simon and Isabella and their sons my great uncles. My grandfather was another brother Walter Macdonald, buried in Newington Cemetery Edinburgh.
