These are my g-g-g-grandparents. Most of their children migrated to Victoria, Australia in the middle of the 19th century. It seems only William stayed in Contin in Scortland.

I have found the outcomes for most of these people.
The one that remains a mystery is 3->.ADAM LAIDLAW B.1821 SC D. UNKNOWN. There doesn't seem to be any trace of him. Whether he stayed in Scotland or emigrated.
He is not to be confused with another Adam Laidlaw born in 1821 who went to Nova Scotia, or is descended from Adam Laidlaw and Elizabeth Kerr.
I would like to find out what happed to him. He seems to be born the same year as William. Perhaps he was a non-surviving twin?

6 family members migrated to Australia at various times between the years of 1840 and 1853. One son William stayed behind, had a large family of 10 sons, but nothing is known about the family.
Would be interested to hear about any of them up to the present year 2009.
