John McRae, Duncan & Janet McRae, Hector McRae


To the/memory of/JOHN McRAE/builder/who died at/East Horsley Surrey/7th Nov 1883/aged 30 years/DUNCAN McRAE/who died at Elmbank/Strathpeffer/14th March 1892/loving and dutiful father/his brother HECTOR McRAE/died at Longmore Hospital/Edinburgh/1st May 1895/deeply mourned/also JANET CAMERON/beloved wife of the above/DUNCAN McRAE/who died at Elmbank Strathpeffer/21st Oct 1908/and of/MARY McRAE/who died/21st February 1922.

John McRae died on the 7th Nov. 1883 in East Horsley. I have a transcript of his death certificate from the GRO. Hector died on the 1st May 1895. Janet Cameron died on the 14th Oct. 1908. Duncan was a brother of my 2x gt grandmother Ann (McRae) McOwan. Thank you for taking the photo of his family's grave.
