Roderick Maclean & father Roderick Maclean.

In memory/of/RODERICK MACLEAN/Mariner/who was drowned at Craigton Point/on 22nd Decr. 1863/aged 22 years.

This small stone is erected/as a mark of esteem/and regard/by two of his surviving friends.who were also in the boat on the/lamented occasion.

Also of his father/RODERICK MACLEAN on the 2nd June 1882/aged 70 years [stone sunk into ground here]
