Alexander Matheson.
Sacred/to the memory/of/the Reverend/ALEXANDER MATHESON/born at Achmore/Lochalsh/8th February 1832/for 26 years/minister of/the parish of Glenshiel/where he died/18th January 1897.
This memorial/was erected/as a token of sincere/respect and regret/by/cottars on Kintail/and the proprietor Sir JAMES MACKENZIE Bart.. Each and all of whom feel that by death of Mr Matheson they have lost a sincere and valued friend.
