In/affectionate remembrance/of/WILLIAM YOUNG/who departed this life/on the 15th June 1872/aged 72 years/also of his wife/ANN JOHNSTON/and their son JAMES YOUNG/died 25th April 1917 aged 86 years/also his wife/ANNIE NOBLE/died 10th March 1929/aged 72 years.
"In that great cloister's stillness/and seclusion/by guardian angels led/safe from temptation/safe from sins and pollution/they live, whom we call dead."
