Sacred/to the memory of/DONALD ROSS/who died at Tain 19th Nov. 1859/aged 76 years/and his wife/CHRISTINA/who died at Tain 3rd July/1862 aged 62 years/also their son/HUGH/who died at Tain 22nd Decr 1874/aged 45 years.

This stone was erected/by the/surviving members of the family WALTER/DONALD, DAVID and ELIZABETH as a token/of affection for their parents and brother.
