In loving memory/of/HUGH MUNRO/carpenter/died at Lower Pitkerrie, Fearn/29 June 1856 aged 38 years/also/his beloved wife/ISABELLA MUNRO/died at Newfield Lodge/21st April 1898, aged 80 years.



Thy heavenly home is bright and fair/no pain nor death can enter there/its glittering towers the sun out shine/that heavenly mansion shall be mine.
