In loving memory/of/DONALD CAMPBELL MACDONALD M.A./minister of the United Free Church/born at Len-Urquahrt 14th June 1834/died at Kilmuir 17th Jany 1904/after a ministry of over forty years in the parish/A faithful preacher of the gospel, a diligent pastor/a wise counsellor, a steadfast friend/a man of sincere piety and upright life.

MACDONALD/who died at Syracuse, New York on 22nd May 1956/achieved distinction as a preacher and scholar/in Scotland, England and America.
