In loving memory of/JOHN ROSS/who died at West End/Saltburn in 1904/also his wife/JANE ROSS/who died there in 1905/their second son/ALEXANDER/who died at Cape town/South Africa in 1901/their elder daughter/MARGARET/who died in Glasgow in 1904/their youngest son/JOHN/who was killed/at the Battle of Loos/25th Sept. 1915 aged 23 years/ANNIE/who died 1st April 1931/their eldest son/ANGUS/who died 7th May 1947.
